THE SYMPOSIUM 2023 – THE COMMUNITY

The Symposium for a New Eating Culture is back! On September 11th and 12th we invite all culinary actors in the country to come together for a better food system!
We meet at Gut Boltenhof in Brandenburg and in Berlin for personal exchange, new inspiration and knowledge as well as discussions on relevant topics: from legumes to new ways of working or appreciation in the processing of animals. We discuss, demonstrate and try things out in the field, in the kitchen and in our minds.

The symposium is aimed at all actors in our food system: chefs, restaurateurs, farmers, bakers, beekeepers, fishermen and butchers, cultural workers, journalists and teachers – to visionaries of the future, to food experts and those who want to become one.

MONDAY, 11.09.
On the first day we meet in festival style at Gut Boltenhof for lectures, workshops and discussions, of course over dinner together.

TUESDAY, 12.09.
The second day continues in Berlin. Distributed decentrally throughout the city, we get to know concepts, people and their stories behind the scenes.
